When to play "Find It"

When new people visit, many dogs experience feelings of stress or excitement. Sniffing, the core component of the “Find It” game, reduces stress and will help your dog relax.

Follow these steps when playing "Find It"

• To play, grab a handful of treats and move within a few feet of your dog

• Show your dog one treat, say “Find it,” and then toss the treat on the floor

• As soon as your dog starts moving towards the treat, say “Yes”

• Once your dog is done eating the treat, say “Find it” again and toss another treat on the floor

• Keep playing by tossing treats from one side of your dog to the other

• Remember to always say “Yes” once your dog starts moving towards the treat

Products we love

• Lamb lung. Dogs love these and they're perfect because they're very small.

• Treat pouch. A pouch is a great place to hold your treats during a training session or on a walk.
