How Petcademy Works

for rescues and shelters.

  • Five Free Courses

Petcademy's free courses provide fosters and adopters with the resources necessary for your organization's dogs and cats to successfully transition to their new homes.

  • Adoption and Foster Communities

We offer pet parents free access to our foster and adoption communities. Here they can engage in meaningful conversation with our team and other pet parents.

  • Weekly Reporting

Every week your organization will receive a report indicating which pet parents have completed a course and received their Petcademy certification.

FAQ

  • Is Petcademy really free?

Yes! We don't charge rescues, shelters or pet parents for our foster or adoption courses. Our goal is to make sure pet parents have the information necessary to successfully transition their animal into the home!

  • How does Petcademy make money?

Throughout our courses we recommend a variety of products for the pet parent to purchase. We receive a small commission for all purchased products. We only recommend products we believe in.

  • Can Petcademy integrate with Shelter Manager?

Yes! All you need to do is fill-out the Petcademy signup form in your Shelter Manager dashboard, and we'll take care of the rest. Through Shelter Manager, you can seamlessly onboard your fosters and adopters with Petcademy's free courses.
